Art is nothing unless encountered and experienced! Building audiences for art is a big part of our Renu mission, and our friendly, inviting and informative workshops in Indian music appreciation, Indian dance appreciation and Indian architecture appreciation have always seen good response. The motto of our Indian music appreciation and Indian dance appreciation workshops is “to explore the beauty and meditation in Indian arts”, accomplished with live music and dance, A/V explanations and demonstrations. We encourage interaction and participation in these music and dance appreciation sessions as people may be timid at the perceived abstractness or the esoteric nature of the arts. With the ice broken, they become so ready and open to soak in the moment it becomes contagious!

Vihara is the title for our sessions in Indian architecture appreciation. Vihara is a window into the Ancient Indian wisdom in sustainable building with local materials in response to local climate, history, geography and culture.

Our Indian music appreciation, Indian dance appreciation and Indian architecture appreciation sessions are offered in-person as well as virtually, and there is no prerequisite except curiosity and an urge to embrace joy.
